Welcome to Lovy! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Lovy mobile application ("App" or "Service"). By using Lovy, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using Lovy, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
2. Account Registration
To use Lovy, you must create an account. You agree to:
Provide accurate and complete information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
3. Partner Connection & Data Sharing
Lovy is designed for couples. By connecting with a partner via an invite code, you agree that certain data will be shared between you and your partner, including your name, avatar, game answers, match results, streaks, stars, achievements, memories, important dates, and daily messages. You can disconnect from your partner at any time through the App.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
Upload content that is harmful, offensive, or violates others' rights
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm another person
Create fake accounts or impersonate others
5. User Content
You retain ownership of content you create in Lovy (including memories, photos, and messages). By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and process your content as necessary to provide the Service. Content you create in shared spaces (memories, game answers) will be visible to your connected partner. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any content you upload.
6. Subscriptions and Payments
Lovy offers a free tier with limited features and premium plans (monthly, yearly, and lifetime). Free users have access to a limited number of games per day, up to 3 memories, and selected game topics. By purchasing a subscription:
You agree to pay the applicable fees
Monthly and yearly subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the current period
Lifetime purchases do not renew and provide permanent access
When one partner has a premium subscription, both partners in the couple receive premium benefits
You can manage subscriptions through your App Store settings
Refunds are handled according to App Store policies
7. Intellectual Property
The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Lovy and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
Lovy is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Lovy is designed to support healthy relationships but is not a substitute for professional relationship counseling.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lovy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. Upon account deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
